Keith began practicing law in May 1995 after earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law and passing the New York Bar Exam on his first try. After relocating to Georgia, he passed the Georgia and North Carolina Bar Exams and founded the Law Office of Keith R. Miles, LLC in March 2008.

Keith’s commitment to estate planning and elder law is deeply personal. Shortly after opening his firm, his first wife was diagnosed with cancer in December 2008. During her illness, he personally prepared her estate planning documents and trusts while helping navigate the difficult decisions that accompany serious health challenges.

When she passed away in June 2009, the experience profoundly changed his professional focus. Having witnessed firsthand the importance of proper planning, incapacity preparation, and family protection, Keith dedicated his practice to helping others prepare for and navigate similar life events.

In January 2026, Keith Miles was blessed to receive his own cancer diagnosis. In addition, he lost strength in his legs from the spinal surgery to remove those same cancer tumors. Keith is working with physical therapy to walk again.

With his faith, Keith believes God has intentionally placed him in a position to live what he practices. Keith hopes to educate and serve both prospective and current clients with views on estate planning from both his personal and professional experiences.
