Bringing digital business cards to life with live photos and videos

One of the coolest scenes for me in the Harry Potter movies was the shot of The Daily Prophet, where the picture in the newspaper wasn’t a still photo but a moving image…

People say an image is worth a thousand words. Well, what does that make a video worth? We’ll let you figure that one out, but it suffices to say that a video can make an even stronger and more memorable expression than an image.

Our goals with HiHello’s digital business cards are to make your cards (and by extension, you) more memorable, and to have your card serve as a conversation-starter. If just glancing at your card tells the person something more about your personality or your background, not only will it be memorable, but it will also open up new conversation topics and help build a deeper and stronger connection.

It’s with this in mind that we’re excited to introduce the first ever video business card. Here is mine…

HiHello’s video business cards supports both live photos (on iOS) and videos (on iOS and Android). We presently limit the size of videos to 20MB as the intent is to have a short 3–5 second video clip. HiHello with live image support is available today in the App Store and on Google Play

App Store and Google Play download buttons.

What now? Download the HiHello app and create your first video business card! Get creative and have fun! We’d love to see what you create, so share your cards with us on Twitter (@HiHello) or Instagram (@hihello.me) with the hashtag #videocard.

We don’t recommend having your cards look like Sirius Black, but go ahead and have some fun and use HiHello to make an impression on the people you meet!
